I love Math, believe it or not! I'm currently studying hard to learn the contents of a three-year secondary school course that I didn't take when I was in secondary school, but I need to pass an entrance test on the contents of that course before I can study Math in university, which I'm hoping to do after I finish my English degree. Besides Math, I obviously also love books, so books about Math are perfect for me! An Abundance of Katherines - John GreenAn Abundance of Katherines rests on a basis of a mathematic formula that calculates the likely outcome of any relationship Colin has with a girl called Katherine. It involves some nice graphs even! Eventually, the formula is proven to be wrong, but surely it's just not well-researched enough; Math never lies! ;) Silence Is Goldfish - Annabel PitcherSilence Is Goldfish isn't necessarily about Math, but about a girl who is very good at Math and her relationship with her Math teacher. I love when female main characters are good at STEM subjects, as for some reason they are usually interested in art or literature in fiction. When a girl loves a STEM subject I feel a sense of pride and I really hope she succeeds! Zenn Diagram - Wendy BrantZenn Diagram is also about a girl who is very good at Math, but she's also got a condition that allows her to see visions of the inside of a person's brain when she touches them or their stuff. She calls these visions Algos and Fractals, after Mathematical terms, and also compares them with these. Do you know of any other Math themed YA books? Please let me know, as I'd love to read them!
